Best location for installing prodigy Brake Controller

Would really appreciate some thoughts/ideas on this - where is the best location to install/mount a Prodigy brake controller on the 2006 RT. Has anyone tried successfully to place it in the pocket under the radio?
Thanks, Jeff

The best place to unstall it is where you like it, but I unstalled mine to the left of the steering wheel on the lower panel.

Right of the steering wheel seems best. I bought the QD bracket so I can move it between vehicles if needed and it's legible and still removable.

I installed the wiring on my RT and have a post up that fully describes the process. I hope it helps you.

Do you see any reason why the controller could NOt be put in the pocket under the radio?

As long as you store your cell phone somewhere away from the prodigy unit you should be fine.

Re: Best location for installing prodigy Brake Controller

Jeff, mine worked out pretty good here. Being right handed, I can intuitively slide my right hand past my knee a few inches and manipulate the manual brake lever without ever taking my eyes off the road.
