Wiring difference between 06's & 07/08's?

Hi everyone, first post for this happy new '07 RTS owner.
I am researching hitches and read somewhere that the 07 & 08's are different from the 06 models. It said something along the lines that the 07 & 08's are pre-wired for tow purposes.
Can anyone please shed some light on this subject?
How will this differ if I purchase wiring kits?
I know the hitch is the same but I am about to buy one set-up for my "07 and one set-up for my friends '06. Basically I'm confused in the difference of these two model years regarding the wiring. Both are RTS's.

Pre-wiring is same for all model years; however, the new RTX trim level lets you buy a Ridgeline that is completely hitch installed, including the proper finish wiring. There was also a change in the completed wiring parts after 2006 to correct a pinning deficiency in the early connector design.
