Max draw/# of devices on OEM hitch harness?

I am about to add a "line of fire" to my tonneau and need to know what is the maximum safe load that I can put on the hitch electrical system. Currently I have my wireless hitch step backup sensor connected to the 7 pin and my VR3 wireless camera connected to the 4 pin. The backup sensors only activates when I have the RL in R and the camera only transmits when I turn on the lights. I plan on making a 4 pin splitter to run the camera and the line of fire. All devices have their own inline fuse.

Any potential problems with the setup?

(I don't think I will have a problem... but better to be safe then pissed off)

I think it's 20A but don't quote me. I don't think you're going to have a problem as long as you wire it correctly.

I assume that, in this scenario, when one plans to use their hitch with a trailer, that one of the connectors will need to be used by the trailer lights (ie, you have to disconnect either the camera or the backup sensor). Is this correct?

I don't know what a "line of fire" is...I am curious.

I am doing research for hubby who I am hoping will agree to purchasing and DIY-ing a backup camera. I would like the camera to transmit when we turn on the lights, just like yours. Can you please provide some installation details or direct me to a thread? I have done some searches with "backup camera harness" but didn't get too many hits (only some people mentioning using the harness). You're one of them!

Thanks!
