A lengthy performance in a blizzard...
One word. Frostbite.
Ouch.

That's one of the reasons that alcohol was added to the dance and, now that I think about it, many of my buddies now refer to me as numb-nuts.

Re: Tow Truck

I sure wish some of my die-hard Ford buddies would have seen that tow job for themselves. They have always busted on me because I preferred Chevy's over Ford's. We'll times change, and you get older faster, now I'm in my new 07 RTL and lovin it....

Your neighbors need to lighten up and get with the program - I can see it now, an entire neighborhood engaged in a drunken, wild, naked snow dance - sure to be a Top 10 hit on youtube.

Based on my observations, it depends on how much alcohol is involved.

Re: Tow Truck

Good story about a "real" truck. I also like your advise about arguing with idots. Thanks, and Merry Christmas!

Lightbulb Re: Tow Truck

I love my RTL but this is clearly about having 4wd versus not, not so much real truck Ford Chevy etc.

I have helped a couple of neighbors driving a Chevy Trailblazer and 1500 work truck and s10 2wd out of a ditch with my wife's Oldsmobile Bravada and i did so so they would very well not feel bad as I could have pulled em out with my Audi A6 Quattro.

Yeah I hate to start controversy but I have owned some very capable trucks that get no respect like the Olds Bavada and Mercury Mountaineer. Every bit as powerful as their counterparts (blazer and explorer) but a whole lot more comfortable, cheaper and with better warranties and service from their respective dealer then the tough guy truck.

When I am done with the RTL I may replace it with whatever Buick or Mercury's version of the 4wd is in a couple of years.
