I called the dealer, and they also said they needed to see the truck. We looked at another RTX in the lot.

Guess what? Mine was stuffed into the ball hitch too.

They stuff the harness into the ball hitch tube

Who would think to look in there?

To keep the harness clip from getting beat up!

Thanks RedLdr1. I was wondering what the wiring was all about thats not terminated at one end. Thus far, I will be towing small trailers that do not have brakes.....but it could come in handy later.

I have the 08 RTL and planing to install the hitch that didn't come with it. there is a pigtail in the back bumper and i was hopeing that this may be part of the harness for towing? do you know what that thing is?
