Cheapest Place for OEM Trailer Hitch and Harness
My local dealer wants $520 bucks + tax for the OEM Hitch and Harness. I have done a lot of searching online and most places seem to sell the OEM Hitch for $260 and the Harness for $140 Plus Shipping.
Is there someplace cheaper than this that I am missing? |

Overall, ended up saving a few bucks, anyway. Might as well try this, the worse they can say is no.

Re: Cheapest Place for OEM Trailer Hitch and Harness
The shipping for hondapartscheap is about the same as our 8% sales tax in NY. Unless someone has a site with it cheaper, I will just order it from them and save myself the gas $$ driving to the dealer and haggling with them on price.
Thanks man I appreciate the tip. |

Re: Cheapest Place for OEM Trailer Hitch and Harness
I use Bernardi Honda for my stuff.... But it looks like they are $10 more on each item... $249.21 for hitch, $134.55 for harness... Not sure your zip so don't know the shipping.

Re: Cheapest Place for OEM Trailer Hitch and Harness
Thanks anyway but bernardi was $20 more for the parts and $100 for shipping to Rochester NY 14624, compared to the other site that was only charging $40 to ship all the way from california. Sounds like the shipping may be out of whack for the CA place.

40 smacks from Cali? I smell an email explaining the extra charges... hehehe
I have great luck with Bernardi. Generally they have very competitive pricing, even having to pay sales tax as they're in my state. But then again, living not to far from them is a bonus as regular shipping has got me my stuff REALLY fast.... ![]()

Re: Cheapest Place for OEM Trailer Hitch and Harness
I called my local dealer and they said the price is the price. They would not come down at all. The guy said that the online places probably weren't even real Honda dealers and you might not get the correct parts.
Anyone bought a hitch and harness from hondacheapparts.com and can give them a good recommendation? |

Re: Cheapest Place for OEM Trailer Hitch and Harness
I just talked to my dealer on Monday about a hitch and he told me they had the Hitch at the "internet price" for $255 and I think $130 on the harness. I'm going to try and get a couple bucks off that yet though when coupled with a tonneau cover because my father-in-law delivers parts to that dealer and knows the sales manager really well. We'll have to wait and see how that goes though...

Re: Cheapest Place for OEM Trailer Hitch and Harness
Anyone offering to ship the hitch for $40 coast to coast is losing money. It's overweight and oversize. Expect a corrective email or phone call.
