Bed rack and tonneau cover ???

Im looking to do both the bed rack and the tonneau.
The purpose of the mods are geared to making a functional "work truck"

Has it been done? can it be done?

What Bed Rack? Are you talking about the OEM Bed Extender?

To clarify im looking to do a lumber / kayak type rack that will attach to the bed rails.

The only bed rack currently available for the Ridgeline is the Sportraxx. The Sportraxx mounts to the tie down locations. Unfortunately, these are the same locations that most tonneau cover rails use. It may be possible to modify a set of tonneau cover rails to function with the Sportraxx. Having never seen close ups of the mounting system, I don't know if this is feasible or not.

I'd start by contacting the folks at Sportraxx and see what info they can give you about their mounts. Good luck.

I will call sportraxx to see what they have to say.

I would just make my own out of aluminum but the wify has cut me off on custom projects for now.
