There's always the roof-rack mount but if you want it in bed you are going to have to build your own or get an "ugly bar thing" probably.

Do you have any pics of the modifications you made to make the bike rack work?

Someone else inquired about my setup, and here is a copy of what I sent him:

Here is a picture of what the bed rider looks like:

You twist one end (like a screw) and it stretches out to the size you want, and then there is a lever/lock that flips down to give it its last little bit of tightening. That way nothing was permanent. I just tucked a small square of a 2x4 behind the front lower tie-downs and used that for the mount, and the rack kept it tight against the sidewall of the bed. I pulled pretty hard on it once it was in and couldn't get it loose. Also, when there's a bike on it there isn't exactly much drag, so I wasn't too worried. My back wheel of my bike was against the tailgate, and the front was about 1 or 1 1/2 inches from the front window.

Anyway, there are some good pictures and examples of the Thule rack here. Post #9 is closest to what I did, except he used 2x6's and I used 2x4's because I had them on hand and they worked just fine. I've got this thing about my bikes riding forward too, lol. On page 2 there is a guy who just used the front fork mounts permanently into the bed. If you're looking to do something like that, you could follow his lead or find a place to mount them in the front of the bed, for instance under the window is what I would do. Hope this helps!
