Had "One" Sigma hitch installed today

Had a Draw-Tite hitch installed today for $205.
Imagine my pleasant surprise when I got home and found out the damn thing had not fallen off the truck.

Good price! I got the same hitch installed and the wiring harness with installation all for $276. So, I guess we are on the same page.

I already put my hitch to the test (handles better than my Tahoe did).

Don't you feel good knowing you saved about $630 by NOT buying the one from Honda?

DAMN, it feels good not to get ripped off!

Factory Accessories are almost always more expensive than aftermarket parts, this is why aftermarket parts even exist. You will not get the quality of fit and finish usually with aftermarket parts as you do factory but for most people this is perfectly fine if it means they are going to save a lot of money. But for those who prefer the parts designed especially for the vehicle I don't think having the factory part put on is a rip off. Many of us don't have the time to research aftermarket parts to the extent that we would feel comfortable with them on our vehicles. I know I am getting something that was tested for my truck when I buy a Honda part. This assurance saves me money because I don't end up wasting time researching alternatives and I don't put on an inferior part because I didn't take the time necessary to ensure it was a good alternative. Glad your choice is working for you.

By the way, your truck looks to have dipped in the back in that picture, was there a lot in the bed or was the trailer really pulling it down that much? Or maybe it was just the way you were sitting on the grass. At first I didn't get why there would have been much of any weight from the trailer until I saw that you had a mower on the trailer. This is more curiosity than anything as I haven't towed anything yet with my hitch, I use it to mount a T on the back of my truck to hold up a canoe. But there will be a time soon when I need to use a trailer to get rid of some old furniture and crap from my basement which I am redoing. I had over 500lbs worth of stuff in the bed of my truck and it didn't look to dip at all with that, but when I get rid of all this stuff there will certainly be more than 500lbs behind me.

I was wondering the same thing when this pic was posted in another thread, but one of the pics didn't show the dip, so I never asked about it.

I explained it once, the "dip" is because I am parked on a slope on the other side of the truck. So, basically, the passenger side is in a "hole," if you will. THAT is why it looks to be dipping. I only had about 100 pounds in the bed and maybe 60 pounds of tongue weight. Sitting in a parking lot, the truck looks fine, but once on an uneven surface, that is a different story!
