Brake controller connection

My RL came with the towing package. Included was a pigtail to connect a brake controller. Is the only connector I'll find under the dash that will fit the pigtail the one for the brake controller? The manual states the connector is 'under the dash near the top of the parking brake pedal,' but the conector I found was more towards the brake and gas pedals. It was bound by blue tape to a larger wire bundle. Would hate to hook up to the wrong connector.

Went over a whopping 500 mi today on the odometer today - sure love my RL!

Thanks.

Re: Brake controller connection

It's a gray 4 in-line connector. Hope this helps.

Good. In case you need it:
Pin 1 Blue Wire - Battery
Pin 2 Wht/Blk Wire - Brake Light Input
Pin 2 Brn/Wht Wire - Output to Trailer Connection
Pin 4 Blk Wire - Ground

Re: Brake controller connection

Here's a pic of that connector. It's way up there. That blue tape was hard to remove. I could only get one hand on it.
