High Elevation Towing Question
Please share your towing experiences in mountainous terrain.
I am specifically interested in how the Ridgeline performs while towing a popup or hybrid camping trailer at high elevations like along I-70 west of Denver, where the elevations range from around 5500 feet to over 11000 feet. |

Re: High Elevation Towing Question
I have towed a 3,000 lb. folding trailer over Eisenhower Pass on I70 in Colorado with a 3.8L, 200 HP Windstar. The Windstar felt the altitude but did fine. In fact, that day we never dropped below 5,000 ft. Judging from its performance the RL should have no problem.
The highest I have towed our new 3,500 folding trailer with the RL has been about 4,100 and that was a breeze.
