Well besides the "no scratch" fable, they really honed in on why this is such a great vehicle. Very good review. Good find!

Read the "about us" -- Farm Industry News belongs to a publishing genre known as "free trade publications." If the review sounds vaguely like an advertisement, that's because that's what it is

I also noticed that the reviewer states that the Ridgeline starts as front wheel drive & switches to four wheel drive, which is bass-ackwards from what I understand the truck actually does...

One more person without the knowledge of how the VTM system really works... (I was just as guilty until I was schooled by Gary)

Re: Ridgeline review in farm magazine

The third paragraph from the end might of read like this to be more accurate:

In one demonstration, a front-end loader filled with 1,500 lbs. of large boulders was raised to full height above the Ridgeline before dropping its load with full force into the bed. The pickup slumped as it absorbed the full impact hit, but it stayed level. It not only hauled the load with ease, but displayed nary a scratch and not one dent in the bed when the boulders were removed.

{edit} noted wrong paragraph.

Re: Ridgeline review in farm magazine

Wow! As much as I love my truck, that was an out and out advertisement written by someone who read the sales brochure, drove it for 10 minutes and watched a Honda rigged demo. Notice that there was almost no firsthand opinion in it whatsoever.
