I'm actually surprised they did a review at all...they seem to heavily favor domestics over there.

Moved as requested.

Nice review. FOr once it sounds like someone actually drove it instead of reading from the sales brochure.

Thumbs up Re: Review on 2008 RL from PickupTruck.com

I like this review. They point out the off road limitations but then they emphasis the Ridgelines strong points.

The Ridgeline doesn’t have to worry about what it is and it isn’t – a platform of innovation, car-like smoothness, and functionality sells this truck.

The reviewer actually knows what he's talking about...well, mostly, but closer than anyone else's that I've read.

Re: Review on 2008 RL from PickupTruck.com

The only thing I didn't like is how they mentioned several times about a unibody construction with no mention of the box frame....I think this may be the source of all those "it's an Accord with a box" comments

That was one of the most accurate articles I have read regarding the RL. At last, someone objective like we are

Re: Review on 2008 RL from PickupTruck.com

I've been reading this website for a few years...I remember them talking about reviewing the 06 Ridge, and it never happened. Then I logged on last night, and there it was. I do agree that it was an accurate review.

Re: Review on 2008 RL from PickupTruck.com

good review, now I feel better about buying a car instead of another silverado
even though I have vacation property in the mountains and have to transverse an unplowed road through 6" of snow (1/2 mile homebuilt driveway), I don't need the truck, Honda does this fine.
RL cannot Off-Road, pull stumps or take jumps that the silverado could...then again, the 2003 silverado needed 2 transmissions, a new rear diff and drove like a bucket of bolts. I guess I was too hard on it.
When it died, I bought the RL instead of a 2008 Chevy.
