About.com 2007 Ridgeline Review

...Don't be surprised if your first glance at the Honda Ridgeline leaves you wondering if you're looking at a pickup truck, an SUV, or an Avalanche-like combination of the two. Yes, the Ridgeline is definitely a different breed of truck, but a truck it is. Once you get past its somewhat unconventional appearance you'll discover that Honda engineers equipped the Ridgeline with a full set of desirable features...

I thought it was a good review, but he didn't say much, if anything, about the great traction in wet or icy conditions with the AWD. That's one of my favorite things abut my RTL.

Personally I think the Ridgeline has great lines, looks tough as well as sporty. If i'm wrong someone please tell me. The trunk holds not one but two sets of golf clubs plus shoes and it also can carry a large amount of adult beverages and ice. What more could a man ask for. :)

Re: About.com 2007 Ridgeline Review

I haven't tried it, but a friend told me he has carried 3 golf bags. (The smaller walking bags, not staff bags.) I've had cars with smaller trunks. And the looks, as far as I'm concerned, are as good (better) than any other truck. Does that sound bias?

Nope not at all BigFoote and the bags are stand type a little thicker than a cart bag but not as big as a staff bag. Its funny when you pull and your buddy brings the cart over and say' "Hey where are your club's" and you look surprised and say "Holy Crap ! I forgot them" Thennnn you pop the cargo trunk. :)

Re: About.com 2007 Ridgeline Review

That hasn't happened to me yet, but my friend, Cajun, said it has to him. I don't plan on playing until spring, because of my back. But I can't wait till the first time I pull up and ask if they can lend me some clubs.

Re: About.com 2007 Ridgeline Review

Sorry to hear about your back, I know that miserable feeling I had a disc crack and a nerve jam into the slot before it decided to pop back in when I was in my early twenty's no fun. I usually throws me for a loop about once a year. Hope you get better soon, golf is a great game I love it - not very good at it with about a 19 handy cap but i'm still getting better thats for sure. :)

Re: About.com 2007 Ridgeline Review

I used to play about 250 to 300 rounds a year. But now I'm retired and living in one of the greatest golfing places in the country and I've only played 2 rounds in 2 years. Next year will be better. My handicap is probably around 14, but I hope to get it back to around 5.

Re: About.com 2007 Ridgeline Review

I played in a golf Tournament at Sherwood Country Club a few months ago. This is a real private country club it is where the Tiger Woods Target World Challenge is held.

Swanky place so they have a place where you can pull up and a caddie will unload your bags and take them to your cart or the driving range. I pull up to the bag drop off and the caddie walks up to the passenger side window, looks in, looks in the passenger back window, walks around the back of the truck looking into the bed, comes around to the driver's side peers in the back window comes to my window and says. "Did you forget your clubs?"

I had a good laugh. Guess they don't see many Ridgelines at this place. I think Mercedes and BMW's are the daily drivers of most of the people that play there.
