Ridgeline Awards

Hi,

Just a suggestion, but how about a "permanent" thread that lists the awards the Ridgeline has received? I tried to post something in the Reviews section, but I don't have access.

Awards could be added to that particular thread as they became available. I know that awards are mentioned all over this board, but it might be nice to have them all listed in one place. It would make it easier for prospective buyers to see all the awards in one place...and confirm the wisdom of our purchase!

I think that's a fine idea. I know there is concern about being too many categories. I like the logic you use about it being a showcase for newbies to explore. It's bound to be chuck full.

So far on here I have seen awards from the following:
Motor Trend
Autobytel
AJAC (Automotive Journalists Association of Canada)
San Jose Mercury News
I also found one on the web: On Wheels Magazine which gives the Urban Wheels Award at the Detroit Auto Show.
We had better get these organized before we are buried in awards.

Exactly Webwader. I think the Detroit News rated the Ridge as the number one truck as well. Wonder what that will do to their circulation.

I was cruising some other forums and found that the RL was named truck of the year be Maxim magazine. I don't know if we should add that one or not.

You can add the JD Power & Associates 2005 APEAL award for the Honda Ridgeline as the most appealing mid sized truck, that I posted yesterday in the Misc. section.
