Hey Everyone, Great News!!!

I'd like to start a thread for GREAT NEWS!, things that happen to fellow Ridgeline owners that are really great. Hopefully this will provide sort of a balance to all the bad news that gets thrown at us during our day.

Anyway, my wife ....................It's uncommon to pass this test on your first try.

Thanks for letting me share.

Re: Hey Everyone, Great News!!!

That is, how do I say it, great news. Congratulations to your wife on achieving this designation.

Thanks WW! She is SOOO happy! She worked so hard for that and has been studying non-stop (it seems) for months.

RO3 -

Congrats to your wife, and to you for supporting and understanding her need to pursue this designation and accomplishment! Many careers have difficult tests/portfolios for the professional and they are not easy on the one taking it, nor on the spouse. When I did my NBCT, we had just had child #2 (literally - child arrived and one week later my "box" containing the portfolio and testing materials arrived - I had 5 months to complete the 6 parts of the portfolio). I have thanked my wife profusely for her understanding of the time I had to spend away from her and our boys while I worked & studied. From you being so proud (and rightly so!) of her, it is obvious that she has been appreciative of your support.

Re: Hey Everyone, Great News!!!

So far I have found 3 small 8mm bolts and one small 10mm nut on the floor of my ridgeline. This truck can produce nuts and bolts! Another unexpected feature!

I can't figure out where the one under the backseat came from?

Anyway, my wife passed "the hardest test of my life" yesterday and achieved the highest designation in her field. She can now add "SPHR" to her business cards and signature. (I just think that's so neat!) SPHR = Senior Professional in Human Resources. Anyone in the challenging field of HR can really appreciate this. It's uncommon to pass this test on your first try.

Thanks for letting me share.

RO3,

Congrats! I do know what all went into this because my husband is also an SPHR and also passed the test on the first try! You are right, it is uncommon to pass on the first try. Also, the re-certification is no piece of cake and I am so proud of my hubby for completing that as well. Again, Congrats to you and your wife! Time to Celebrate!!!

Smoky

Re: Hey Everyone, Great News!!!

Congrats

My wife just started back at work for the first time in more than 3 months off (maternity leave). Now I have 2 daddy days during the week, peace and quiet (no one telling me how to wipe my daughter's face etc..)
