Re: Perpetual Price Thread
I'm ready to buy a RL this week, so I'm talking to various dealers. I've read on here and heard from them that it's EITHER $2500 to the dealer OR low APR and $500 to the dealer.
This price indicates that the deal qualified for both the $2500 and the special financing. How can this be? Am I understanding the plans wrong? Quote:

Re: Perpetual Price Thread
I've been quoted $27040 on an RTL with Navi plus TTL, Destination, etc. equalling an out the door price of $31288. The $27040 is minus the $2500 incentive. I'm hoping to get a lower price elsewhere with tomorrow being the last day of the month hopefully someone is willing to bite. What do you think?

Re: Perpetual Price Thread
You've got a price of $8500 off MSRP and about 4300 in taxes and fees so I don't know how that works out. With about 2200 in taxes and 2000 in doc fees that is a little weird but still works out to about 6500 off MSRP which is good. 8500 off msrp plain is way too much off to be legit.

Re: Perpetual Price Thread
I know this is a cruddy way to start my first post, but it'd be great if this thread was a sticky. It was invaluable to me prior to sending out my emails to the dealerships.
Anyhow, got my RTS yesterday. 27,500 out the door (includes TTL, Fog Lights, Towing Package, Backup Sensors, XM, Day/Night Rearview). Got a pretty decent price for my Trade-in. It was in between the low end and high end of the appraisals you can do online. Not as high as I would've liked, but I got the RL at a price I liked, so I didn't feel the need to get too greedy. |

Hi All,
I'm about to make the deal, but was wondering if it is good or not. Reading from previous post on here, it seems that I'm getting a pretty good deal. For a 2007 Formal Black RTX, it's invoice $25,633 -$2500 which brings the cost to $23,418 before tt&l. It sounds like they are giving it to me for $300 over invoice. What do you guys think? Also, my trade is valued at $29K for a vehicle in excellent condition, they quoted me $26K-$27K, and I told the dealer that I got a quote for my trade in for $27.5K which they are willing to match. Is this a great deal or can I get better if I try harder? ![]() |

Re: Perpetual Price Thread
Kajing, I did $`$23550 on an RTX when the factory to dealer cash was only $2000 in April. But that was at a volume dealership. That price included dealer add ons of Lojack, hand painted pin striping, mud guards, air deflector, and wheel locks. The only additon to that price was tax and tags. I probably could have pushed another few hundred off if all the dealer profit items weren't already on the truck.

Re: Perpetual Price Thread
Keastman, that seems like a better price then what I'm getting.. Where are you located? I'am in the San Jose, CA area so far that is the best price I received around here.
I went as far up north about 100 miles from where I live and they were quoting me the same, if not a little more. |
