Re: Perpetual Price Thread
25.3 isn't bad at all; mine was 25642 and that was 440 under invoice. You are at the end of the month, though and that is always good.

Hi Everyone,
I can happily join the ROC for real. Just picked up my 2007 RTL. 30,056 plus wheel locks. 200 under invoice. I shopped around my area a lot and most managers laughed at that price. I ended up in Branfon Honda in Brandford, CT. My salesperson was Jon Walden, a very nice, upfront guy. So in the end I had a very satisfying experience. Happy Thanksgiving! |

Re: Perpetual Price Thread
Without Nav.
The Nav costs about 3 grand more. I figured it would be easier to get a portable Nav, that I could use in my other car too. But the voice activated function seems neat. And really, really wish the regular RTL had a standard audio jack for my non iPod Mp3 player. Even the Element has that! |

Re: Perpetual Price Thread
Is that with Tax, Lic, regi?
Tax in my neck of the woods is 7.75% which on 30k is about $2250 Lic is approx $200 + Regi is $139.00 Edmunds invoice says $30,532 Kelly BB invoice says $31,458 Edmunds invoice + fees otd = $33,237.23 Kelly BB invoice + fees otd = $34,234.99 If you read some other posts you will see mention of a long supply on hand for Honda dealers = good for you to neg. more off Also you are near end of month = good for you to neg more off and if this is right? there's a holdback on the Ridgeline = good for you to neg more off. But even if you did nothing, looks like you already getting atleast a few hundred off invoice.

Re: Perpetual Price Thread
Hi Ross,
As I understand it a "holdback" is an amount of money that the manufacturer gives the dealer for just selling the vehicle. That arrangement between the manufacturer and dealers is not advertised anywhere. Also the amount varies between 0 and ???. If you know the amount of a holdback, you can then hopefully not only try to get invoice price but cut alittle into the holdback as well. Good luck on your purchase. I love my Big Blue, and I think you will be very happy with your new Ridgeline. We all will be looking forward to seeing some pics of your new RTL

Re: Perpetual Price Thread
Thank you everyone for your help. I am no longer a RL wanna be. My wife and I drove 2.5 hours each way to get to a dealer with the lowest price down in Northern IL.
We picked up a 2007 RTS, Nimbus Gray, before TTL at $26,800. No options, will do those later. It had only been on the lot 3 days. Have a great one and once again thanks for all the help. Jeremy |
