Re: Perpetual Price Thread

I've decided to focus on a new 2008 Nimbus Gray RTS, and have been quoted $23,650 plus tags/tax ($25,500 out-the-door) by Boch Honda in MA and also multiple dealers in the Albany NY area. Now if this guy shows up today to take my Touareg I'll be a Ridge owner by Monday!

Re: Perpetual Price Thread

Well, I'm finally getting off the fence. I plan to go finalize a deal tomorrow and with any luck I'll be the proud owner of an 08 Dark Cherry Pearl Ridgeline by the end of this weekend!

Here's the deal:

08 Dark Cherry Pearl RTL w/Navi

Roof rack
Ives DVD system
back up camera
Stainless running boards
foglights
mud flaps

$32,664.00

I'm also looking to add towing and the sunroof visor. Anyone know what a good price is for those two options?

Also, I'm hoping to get the 3.9% for 60. Is that possible with these low prices?

I think the essential question is: What is the base price before the options? Then, ask the dealer for prices on the options one-by-one. Have clear idea what options cost. Do some research. That will help you understand what you are paying.

GOOD LUCK and ENJOY what you buy. The Pearl Cherry is absolutely the best, IMHO!

Re: Perpetual Price Thread

As for the truck price, the dealer said $3500 below invoice which is about as good as I could hope for. He said he'd discount the options. I'll make sure I double check the prices before I take the plunge.

His quote for the truck with options is significantly lower than any other bid I've got so far.

Re: Perpetual Price Thread

Pulled the trigger on a Steel Blue RTL (no NAV) for $27,000 plus TT. Pick up next Saturday. No accessories.

Dealer didn't want to dicker on the trailer hitch/harness so I just said forget it. Wouldn't go under $950 installed. I have new born twin boys at home so the wife said not to waist time arguing - just buy the truck and get home. We will need the truck when we move back to Canada in a few months but the hitch can wait.

Now I just need to spend some time going back through the tonneau cover posts to find one that I like and can install myself without too much work. Dont' need anythign fancy, just something to keep the rain and snow out.

Thumbs up Got mine!

Just got back from the dealership and am the proud new owner of a Dark Cherry Pearl RTL w/Navi. Got an incredible deal from Dawn over at Fenton Honda of Ardmore, OK. She really came through for me.

I got the truck with roof rack, stainless steel running boards, Ives DVD, back up camera, fog lights, towing package, mud flaps and Moonroof visor all out the door for less than the MSRP of the truck with no extras.

I promised her I would'nt give out the exact figures, but it was a great deal, that's for sure. If you're in the North Texas area or south of Oklahoma City, you should give her a try.

They even gave me a loaner Ridge while they get mine ready! Hopefully mine will be ready by Wednesday.

Re: Perpetual Price Thread

Just got back from the dealer this evening and am a brand new owner of a formal black 08' RTL/w Navi. Price before my trade was $28,500...after trade (with equity), out the door for $26,130.

The truck rides great and I love it! I dont miss the 07' Dodge Ram that I traded in at all. Thanks everyone for all your help.

Re: Perpetual Price Thread

Just got my new 2007 RTL+Navi yesterday night. I was able to find a dealer in Central Valley (CA) who had two of them in stock (2007 leftover), all dealerships nearby (I live in SF Bay Area) had only 2008 RTLs. I looked at the truck and it was practically brand new (32 miles on the odometer). So the price (after not really long negotiation) settled to be $27,000 + t/t/l. They also gave me a pro pack (mud guards, wheel locks and floor/trunk mats) for free. The only extra I added was a Honda Care extended warranty (7 years/100,000 miles 0 deductible) for $1,400. Great truck, I really like it!

Re: Perpetual Price Thread

Just pulled the trigger on an 08 Ridge RTS. I got the convenience package, the rear mud flaps, and complete trailer package installed. Total price, out the door, was $600 less than what edmunds.com showed as TMV. I'm a happy camper!!!!! I'd never have been able to do that if I hadn't joined this site and learned all I have. Thanks to everyone!!!!!
