Re: Perpetual Price Thread

I am in the Bay area, California. I just paid 28k Out the Door for an 08 Ninbus Grey RTL w/o Nav. I got the dealer to throw in a tow package.

I also had a 2000 Dodge Durango with 120k miles on it to trade in and they gave me 5k for it.

Re: Perpetual Price Thread

I'm going in today to possibly sign all paperwork...'08 Steel Blue Metallic RTS. I got them down to $23,463 + TT&L at 4.8% for 60 months. I tried to get them down to 4.5% but they just said that would have to be bought down, so I settled for 4.8% (I'm only 27 and my credit is good but perhaps just not THAT good).

Because I'm trading in and getting a bit less than I'd like for my vehicle, I told them I'd only finalize today if they added some GOOD extras, like fog lights or side moldings, or otherwise made my deal cost about $600 less. They said they have some room, so come on in. Really I'm only doing this and taking a small hit on the trade in because of the huge cash incentives on this truck - I wouldn't consider anything else.

I'll let you guys know if I end up with one! Wish me luck...

Re: Perpetual Price Thread

So I changed my mind last minute...but I brought home a Nimbus Gray RTS...deal came in at $23463 + TTL. Not too bad, I know sticker is irrelevant in these at this point but the window sticker had a price of $32,550.

Look forward to being part of this community!

Got a price yesterday of $26,395 for an '08 RTL. Didn't make the deal, because trade-in values are in the basement for '06 RTLs.

Re: Perpetual Price Thread

Myron--I hear you! I think I can get 21,000 tops at my Honda dealer for my 07 RTS with 12K miles. I want leather and a roof, but with the "hit" on my 07, I'll go with Katzkin leather and Webasco sunroof for around 2-2.5K. In fact maybe just the roof and sheepskins I asked my dealer, "Why would I want to take the loss on an RL twice?"

My grandfather said it best, "A bargain isn't a bargain unless you need it".

Re: Perpetual Price Thread

I'm currently shopping.

I see the Edmunds website claims the current Ridgeline incentives are from 01-Apr to 30-Jun, and for an amount of $4500. Has anyone else found that to be true? I thought it was just $3500.

Re: Perpetual Price Thread

I bought my truck February 2008,RTS brand new, picked up with 5 miles on it

It's a Silver Billet metalic, it came with splash guards, pin stripes, and all weather floor mats.

Price: $25,450

($2,500 below invoice) they had this sale event on President's day. I wasn't planning to get one but i was convinced with the deal.Overall...I'm happy with my RL.

Went to $4500 on 4/1. One of the dealers told me it's only until 4/30. I tend to go with 6/30 as Edmunds states. No worries. I should be able to make a deal before the end of this month.

Re: Perpetual Price Thread

Picked up my 08 Dark Cherry pearl RTX last week for $22,942 inc dest.

Then I worked with the F/I guy for:
  • 6yr/120,000 bumper to bumper warranty
  • LoJack
  • 5 year unlimited mileage tire replacement (damage, and includes rim damage)
  • 5 yr 100,000 miles oil changes and tire rotations
  • Full replacement coverage (Gap Ins) for 5 yrs unlimited
Total of $25,442 plus TTL. or an additional $2500 on the adders. I drive 30-40K miles per year so I really needed the extras.

I think I did OK?
