The tricky part for me is that I have a trade which leaves me a bit exposed I think but I could walk away and still have a nice weekend in Boston if we didn't come to terms.
True there are no such thing as temp tags in Massachusetts. I don't know how you would handle this. Does your state offer temp tags with a VIN number? Can you bring them with you?

I bought from Boch Toyota across the street. They offered me straight KBB trade-in on our Pilot. I was able to get them to add $1K on top of that. Their Internet new car prices are pretty much cut to the bone so there's not a lot of room for negotiation, but they will negotiate on your trade. I came from 2 hours away so you could say I was "vulnerable" too, but in no way was that used against me during any part of the negotiation.

I absolutely would buy from them again, and they will get all "10's" on their manufacturer survey from me.

Talking Re: Perpetual Price Thread

I purchased my new 2008 Silver RTL without Nav last friday from Fletcher Honda in Bentonville Arkansas. I live in Tulsa where there are 2 Honda dealers, but neither were able to meet the price I was quoted from Fletcher Honda.

2008 RTL with rubber cargo storage under rear seats and mud flaps for $25404, then they had to add a $169 delivery fee. In addition, this Honda dealer offers lifetime warranty on Engine/Powertrain for life as long as you own the vehicle for free.

Don't know how that ranks, but like I said it was a week ago,,,,,,,,, for the record, its been WORTH EVERY PENNY! I love my truck!

Ridgeline 2008 RTL Black

$25000 after dealer fee plus tax and tags

As per rep it also includes lifetime power train and some other dealer installed stuff. What you guys think of the price.

My only concern about this deal is that it has 150 miles. When I asked the dealer he told me that they got this truck from the other dealer and have to drive. Is this norm?

Really good price, unless the dealer charges some huge fees. Dont be concerned about 150 miles. It could have been test driven. The RTL I bought was driven about 100 miles from another dealer.

That's the same deal I got from Boch 2 weeks ago. The 21,988 included the $635 destination fee. I talked to their phone/internet sales group; I spoke with both Vy (pronounced "vee") Nov and Jazen. They were both very easy to work with and there were no surprises at all. I recommend them without reservation.

Anyone done better? Please advise. Thanks!
Go to carsdirect.com. I'm from cerritos. Isn't rancho santa fe right next door? Anyways, I used 90703 as the zip and I got $27,803.

Re: Perpetual Price Thread

Purchased 2008 RTL (no Nav) w/Mud Flaps - $25325, OTD $26457.

Probably will get the Hidden Hitch/Harness from etrailer.com. Looks like Majestic Honda has good prices on accessories. Sounds as if the USASpec is the best choice for Ipod use.

Looking forward to participating.

My home state of New York offers temp tags but only for going out of state or within the state. They specifically callout that you cannot come into the state with them. So, it's a two trip thing for me to buy from Boch. That said, I may still do that. The trade in number is the kicker. I'm going to another local dealer this AM and see what they have to say.
