I'm the proud new owner of a New Nimbus Gray 2008 RTL (no nav). After shopping around I think I got a great price: $25,400

Congrats on your truck! I got a 2008 RTL (no nav) 2 weeks ago (my 1st Honda!) and you beat me by $4.00 ! I was $25404 but still have to paid taxes and tag this week.

Does that include the dealer doc fee? What state are you in? Looks like a great deal to me.

Re: Perpetual Price Thread

I paid $25,400 for my 2008 RTL in California and from what I'm hearing that's about as good of a deal I could have gotten around here.

I was quoted $24,737 by a dealer in Southern California... seems they are getting better by the minute

That's a great deal HKINGS. But beware, when I showed another dealership my offer for 25,400 they magically lowered their asking price to 24,800 only to tack on bogus fees and such they thought I wouldn't notice which put the price of the RL around 25,800. Good luck though!

What's hilarious is that a family friend purchased an 08 RTL (no nav, new) from the same dealership I did a month and a half ago for 31,500...

(that was OTD though...)

I am in the market for a 2008 RTL in Central Florida. So far the best prices I have gotten are $25,823 (Before TTL), and $27,750 (Out the Door).

Am I going to be in for a stretch to get one of these OTD for a little over $25,000?

27,750 OTD is a great deal in my opinion. I don't think there's a snowball's chance in hell you get anywhere near $25,000 OTD for a new '08 RTL.

Are you talking sales tax? If your rate is 6% st is a bit over $1500. Honda dealers are notorious doc fee thieves, too. Around $400 in my area. That would put you otd around $27,300 which is better than the $29,013 otd I was quoted.
