Re: Finance Question

my wife called them yesterday (i am still in Italy until saturday) and they said that they think they found one, and hoped to have it driven to OK from texas by the end of the night. they said that we have quite a few accessories to have installed, and hope to have it done by tonight, maybe friday. hail damage is the big issue. we had major hail come through OK and Texas in the past week or two.

so it looks like i will have my new truck waiting for me when i get home.

i have to say, i emailed them about a loaner to drive in case we didnt have a vehicle, and the response was astounding and amazing, considering they already have my money and they have already made the sale. to quote the email, the internet salesman said "We will DEFINATELY get you a vehicle to drive while we get yours in. Just contact XXXX @ YYY-ZZZ-AAAA and let him know the circumstances and he'll get everything set up. I can't guarantee it will be a Ridgeline but we won't let one of our customers walk 10 miles to work while we're trying to get their vehicle here." again, they already have my money and my loan.

i am thoroughly impressed with this buying experience. these guys have somewhat renewed my faith in car salesman. they will get a lot of preference when we purchase our next vehicle, which may be soon, as my wife drives a '99 escort that is dieing, and she really likes the new Pilots.

Re: Finance Question

I'm not sure where in OK you are, but we have 2 Honda dealers in Tulsa. I was dealing with Joe Marina Honda on 91st. I was passed to 3 different sales reps. When I asked about another dealers warranty, I was told "You are wrong, nobody offers that!" and "That's ridiculous." Then after an hour and a half of talking, I explained that I needed to go because I had dinner waiting on me at home at 7:30. The sales rep said, "Well I had a hot date 3 hours ago and I'm still here!"

Other and smaller issues left a bad taste in my mouth but there was still one black ridgeline there that I was interested in,,, until I walked out and found one the sales reps driving up to the front of the store while still smoking in it! Unbelievable.

That was it for me. The NW Arkansas store is only 1.5 hours from here and the Sales rep was beyond helpful and friendly. She hooked me up with a new 08' Silver 35 miles, with cargo storage container and mud flaps for a final price of $25404 which I feel VERY good about. I did have to add $169 delivery fee and will pay TT&L here in Tulsa.

ALL THAT BEING SAID,,, I have to know brag on my new truck! I LOVE IT!!! Not since I turned 16 and would run any errand for my Mom just to get to drive, have I had so much fun driving. I'm going to the store for my wife, finding nearby trails. Its GREAT! I know I'm a bit over the top, but I wish I would have bought this truck last year when I wanted to as I feel I've been "cheated" out of a year of having fun!

Thanks again to everyone on this forum to help us "newbie" owner with our questions.
