Availability - How many left?

newb here - I have been researching the Ridgeline for a while now and I really want to get into a Ridgeline especially at the current deals, but my current lease isn't up until October.

How is current availability?

Are they selling fast due to the current incentives or is rising gas prices keeping the sales slow on these?

Do you guys think there will be any leftovers for me at the end of summer?

these arnt selling that good they avg. about 3,000 a month for all 50 states

Yeah, my impression from shopping a couple of weeks ago were that there are plenty. All the incentives have helped some, but still not like they're flying off the lot.

The flip side is, dealers aren't keeping a lot in stock, so if you want a particular model, you might have a hard time (I only found 2 dealers near me that had a Steel Blue RTL without nav, couldn't find any with nav).

None of us can predict the future with accuracy, but here's my shot at it.

The 2009's will be out in July. There will be few if any incentives on the 2009's for a couple of reasons. The Ridgeline will be out of production for about 3 months due to a move in production facilities. This combined with the 2009's receiving some updates will result in an artifical shortage. No need for incentives. Elimination of the incentives and a planned price increase will make the 2009 look awfully expensive compared to a 2008 model. Early adopters of a new model always pay the highest price... just as the early 2006 buyers did.

If you're going to be looking for a 2008 in October you'll probably be OK. I don't think the incentives will be any better than they are right now. How many will be left in October is unknown. You may have to settle for a different color than you want, etc.

You'll be shopping in unusual circumstances... a vehicle with no current production. Hard to predict what will happen.

Call any dealer in the Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky area. They have plenty of Ridgelines in stock. I counted 23 at Honda East in Cincinnati last weekend. I know that Wyler in Florence has about 20 as well.

I'd bet that either dealership would cut you a serious deal. Like Iv'e said before, this is Dodge country around here. Ridgelines don't seem to sell well in my area.

When we were looking for a replacement for my wife's Pilot, Honda was giving $4500 off 2008 Pilots, and they were selling fast. Can you make it until October? I don't know. Maybe. There are a LOT more Ridgelines on the road now. You might have to drive for it or pay to have it shipped.
