Re: Trade In

Was it the Nav system that made him want to get into a new one? Or another reason/reasons?

I'm just curious - everyone is entitled to buy what they like - it just sounded like he had a truck that was in exc shape with relatively low miles.

Re: Trade In

He really wanted the navi after he found out you could control almost everything though voice commands. Plus we wanted to take advantage of the 4500 cash to dealer incentive.

Thanks for all the advise on the trade and selling out right options. My father in law stated that he's going to keep this truck longer to get his moneys worth.

Crazy!
Don't guess that is too bad a deal. It is $500 more than I could have traded for the RTL with NAV. My $10.5K quote did include fog lights and switching my hitch from the 06 to the 08!! I was happy with my $9K OTD trade for the RTL w/o NAV!!

Re: Trade In

Wow. I don't get why anyone would spend $10,000+ to buy the EXACT same vehicle as they already have. I mean if it had 100,000 miles or was redesigned or had a diesel, but for Nav/Leather?
Good thing is, we can all do what we want with our money --I just get confused over that kind of stuff. I don't mean to be out of line.

My dealer called me the other day and asked if I would be interested in trading in my '07 for an '08 if they could keep my payment the same or less with nothing out of my pocket. After I got done laughing, I said "my payment is $0--I can be there in 20 minutes if you'll stick to the terms you just offered."
