What is invoice for an RTL S/R? Thanks

That's how they increase their allocation of vehicles--by selling more? I guess it makes sense but does that mean that dealers who are still selling at premium are getting an ample allocation? The dealer I bought from said they haven't sold an RL below retail and that I was the first one. I haven't heard of any dealers in the Western US advertising below MSRP. Wow!

I don't believe it when the sales guys tell me "we haven't had to sell it at xx,xxx price, you are the first". So, if they've never had to, why do it now? If demand is THAT high as they claim, wouldn't it make sense for them to tell you thanks, someone else is waiting?

When the demand is truely there, they stick to their guns. It's that simple.

Dealers are funny and people are stupid. Most people trade in a car when buying a new one. Dealers will discount the vehicle to invoice and I have seen below invoice then give you nothing for the trade or charge a high finance charge because people again are to dumb to know their credit scores. So when I hear I got this great deal lets compare apples to apples people.

As far as allocation goes, with Honda, all allocations are based on "turn and earn", which means that they will replace, as supply allows, vehicles sold out of your inventory to retail buyers.

Trade-ins.....the way we treat them here is we appraise the vehicle, and treat it as a separate issue from the selling price, even as far as informing customers that a local carmax can give them an unbiased, second opinion!

Carolina - Kelley Blue Book lists the following invoice prices (including destination charges)
RTL - $28,842
RTL w/ moonroof - 29,876
RTL w/ m-r & navi - $31,673

I wouldn't mind trading in my RTL w/ moonroof to get it with navi too!
Only have 420 miles on it!
