I have a 2007 Billet SIlver RTL that I bought back in April 2012 that currently has ~105k on it. There is nothing wrong with it. I've already changed the timing belt and water pump. Its been a great truck.

BUT

I stumbled across a smoking price on a 2007 Steel Blue RTS with only 41k and couldn't pass it up. So now I have 2 Ridgelines. I'll probably sell the silver one later on but for now I'm just going to keep both of them.

So anyways here is a pic I took of the RTS. Its in really clean shape and is completely unmolested by the previous owner (no mods).

I really like the Steel Blue color better. I already had the windows tinted last week. I'm currently collecting some parts getting ready to do an iPad mini install.

How do you like the Bakflip cover and the Muth signal mirrors? I've been considering both of those for my RTS.

Are the signal mirrors red or amber?
So far, I like the Bakflip. I have to see what I can fit under it. I usually pack a lot of plastic bins with riding gear, tools, motorcycle stands and a big cooler in the back for trackdays.
In and of itself, so far I think it's better than a softie. I also need to see if I can find instructions to remove it (should I need to get maximum space for something).

The Muth mirrors are very cool. Amber. Just like all the other cool kids have.
I'm not sure how bright they are during the day (from behind), but they are plenty bright at night.
Visual quality is no different than OEM.

I have a Honda-powered pressure washer...a Honda Zuma scooter...praying for the B&S mower to die so I can get a Honda!! I tried to get a Honda Racing mountain bike...couldn't find a new one (just the inexpensive one, not the full-on racer).

If it says Honda - it gets my attention! :cheerleader:

Sweet! I wouldn't mind having a 2nd RL for the kids to tool around in... with them buying the gas of course. ;)

It would be a safe ride. Unless of course they decide to push the limits:

Yep, I've seen those videos before. The stupid things we do in our youth!

My kids are only 7 & 8 so they won't be doing any driving anytime soon!

So yesterday, I sold my silver RTL. I went and had an appraisal done and was offered about $500 more than I thought I would get. After I had it appraised, I brought it back home to discuss the situation with my lady and then did some parts swapping from the silver RTL to the blue RTS.

The stuff I swapped over from the RTL to the RTS were:
  • 8/32nds tread tires vs 4/32nds on the RTS
  • Aftermarcket hitch
  • Radio bezel (other one had a big scratch)
  • Honda all-weather mats (RTS had generic non-Honda carpet mats)

So far I have only done:
  • Aftermarket hitch
  • OEM hitch harness
  • Homelink overhead console swap
  • PAC ISHD571 iPod/AUX adapter
  • Rubber bed mat

My current wish list:

  • Rear view mirror monitor (already have, waiting for cameras to install)
  • Front and rear parking cameras (already ordered)
  • Remote start
  • Auto headlamps (ordered)
  • iPad mini install (see iPad mini thread)
  • Audio upgrade (processor, amps, speakers, sub)
  • RTX gunmetal wheels
  • Full size spare
  • Fat Bob's lift
  • Hard folding bed cover (maybe Bakflip G2)

Very nice!

With the audio upgrade, you may want to consider Dynamat. From what I've heard, it makes a significant difference. I also recommend Code Alarm's 2-way remote start system...very nice compared to Viper. The remote "beeps back" once after the signal has been acknowledged by the truck and once again after the engine is running.

I installed car audio and security from 1994-2005. Dynamat is a given with any of my speaker installs. I generally do the inside of the outer door skin as well as the inner door skin where the speaker mounts. This time around I'll probably just do the doors. I like doing the floor and headliner, but I'm not as much of an audiophile as I used to be.

For alarms, I've always stuck with DEI. This time around I'll be going with a Python 524. I like the two way setup, but I hate how big the remotes are. I had a 574 in my silver RTL. I really liked the system, but the remote was too big. The 524 has a 2-way remote, but without the LED screen that makes the remote so big.
