taken a month ago in the early morning while out fishing a local bass lake, that is a flock of canadian geese taking off about 30 feet from me

The rock formations were waayy cool. I had trouble getting a picture though. Every time I'd get it framed and focused, this darned girl would jump up into the shot. I finally had to take her picture to get her to stop it.

I've kinda got a thing for golden sunsets and for things that fly. Here's a Powered Paraglider flying above Martinsburg West Virginia. His smoke flare had just run out, but you can still see part of the trail.

Effjay, of all the states in the country, Utah is probably my favorite. So many great sights to see there. Done lots of wandering in that state, and loved every square mile. Thanks for your pics. They bring back lots of great memories of that great country.

After hearing just how much you like Utah, I had to send a couple more shots (including the original without Miss Alba popping up in the corner). It is seriously beautiful country!

More pix from New Mexico. I went to the Albuquerque balloon festival a few years ago and also enjoyed the surrounding countryside. The sunset is from the top of nearby Sandia mountain. So is the picture of the bright red rails and countryside from the top of the gondola lift.
