Driver Side Temp Control
On our 2006 RS Ridgline we're having issues with the driver side temp control. The issue is;
When you adjust the temperature setting (anywhere in the full range of adjustment) the indication nor temperature changes. However, if you slightly push up on the knob (up & to the right; pushing at aprox 7 oclock on the dial) every thing works just fine. Has anyone had these or similar type issues with these controls? Re: Driver Side Temp Control
With all these wiring issues I am begining to think that Honda subbed the wiring and electrics out to Lucas in England.

Re: Driver Side Temp Control
I had the same issue with my '06 model that started just the other day. I've found others that have experienced the same problem.
Has anyone had it fixed? If so, what did it take to fix it? Replace the entire assemble for the temp control? |

Re: Driver Side Temp Control
guys im having the same problem, i posted on this topic about 2months ago when i first bought my 06 RT.....i have the RT so its a single control and i have to pull and push the fan knob right and left for it to turn on...the dealer said i need a whole new "heater control panel" which is costing me $450CANADIAN...and i have a appointment with Honda dealership tommorow to replace it...i looked for a long time to find a fix but no one on here had the same problem....
do you guys think its wiring problem? or a broken switch on the other side of the knob? if it goes during middle of winter id be screwered..but if its a wiring that any mechanic can fix..then i rather do that than pay $450 for a new part... plesae let me know anyone who had this issue fixed asap before my appointment tommorow... this is the part number..
