Re: what's different on a 2007 RTL vs 2006

Another difference I just learned when installing the wiring harness last week for towing. If you vehicle is made prior to August 24, 2005 (as is the case with my RL), the vehicle is not prewired for the backup lights. You can hook up the 10 pin connector for the taillights and brake lights, but there is no 4 pin connector.

BTW J/K. I'll take my chances.
I'll assume this marketed option is one of the few things that's more expensive than making your XM radio REALLY XM ready...FWIW everyone needs to go see Zombie Land, what a hoot!

Re: what's different on a 2007 RTL vs 2006

I never had a vehicle with a sun/moon roof until we bought my wife's CR-V last August. Now I would hate to buy a brand new car that didn't have one. It really adds a lot to the driving experience every time I get into her car. The price difference between the RTL and the mid-line ridgeline was $3000 and that was pretty much for the leather and the sunroof. That is a lot of money unless you really want either leather or sunroof or both but I would pay for it on the ridgeline.

Man, I can't believe some of these threads are totally void of common sense...
As the new owner of an RTL w/moonroof, I feel compelled to counter these arguments.
1. Meteors. Moonroof or no moonroof, meteors are gettin' in if they hit you. The moonroof is the prototype for an Advance Meteor Detection and Warning System, codename AMDAWS. Shhh.
2. Easy access from zombies - Early warning system for zombies on the roof! Not only is the glass easier for the shotgun to shoot through, it disintegrates into even more ammunition.
3. See #2, and adjust your firepower accordingly. If you're unsure how to defeat any of these nasties, you have no business driving a Ridgeline to begin with. They should have checked your credentials more closely...
