Here's a pic with the tonneau cover closed, tailgate down, showing access is possible to the bed truck without having to open everything thing up wide. I have No complaints with access to the trunk with the Solid Fold Extang tonneau installed.

Well I ended up getting the Dee Zee bed mat and i'm happy with it.
If I ever hit the lottery I will carpet my truck bed.

I had the Bed Rug in my last truck and wasn't impressed. It's okay and all but I'd never bother with one again. It is certainly not as easy to clean as advertised and the adhesive used to secure it to the pick up bed began to wear out in 2 years. On top of that, in the winters, it would begin to smell. I eventually pulled it out and threw it away. IMO anyway....

I've had my Bedrug for about 6 months. I think it's awesome so far.
I use my truck mostly for sporting equipment...bikes/kayaks/camping and occasionally hauling firewood. It's under a tonneau and hasn't gotten smelly yet. It dries really fast. It made camping in the bed a lot nicer. Tailgating is a lot nicer. Stuff doesn't slide around and get scratched up by the OEM bed material. The trunk opens and closes no problem. I got the Carolina red mud on it a couple times and it hosed off easily with no stain left behind. Just me, but I'm not sure I'd pour motor oil or acid on it like the promo video though! |
