anyone with 22" wheels .. need some advice...
OK, I have a set of 22" wheels from my last range rover (redbourne wheels) I was thinking of putting them on my new 2102 rtl.. I know some of you guys hate the look of 22" wheels.. and I agree, some wheels dont look good in any size.. but my 22" looked great on my rover and I think they will look ok on the ridgeline.. plus it will free up some garage space..would love to hear from the 22" wheel guys.. if they are happy etc.. I am also thinking of doing the truxx lift.. so I might just go with off road looking wheels and tires.. I dont know how 22" would look on a lifted truck??

Re: anyone with 22" wheels .. need some advice...
boca,
I can only repeat what Kodiak says about these options. Take it for what it's worth: http://www.ridgelineownersclub.com/f...094#post228094 The stock LTX M/S tires on the 17" wheel are 29.7 inches in diameter with 700 revs/mile. How will that compare to the tires you might have on those 22s? ![]() The p245/60r18 LTX M/S tires show 29.6 inch diameter at 703 revs/mile. Last edited by speedlever; 12-23-2012 at 09:12 PM. |

Either that or they won't admit to it.

Are those RR rims 10 inches or so wide? Think RR wheels have an offset around 50
If right have to believe they'll be hitting something eg wheelarch even without tires mounted. Sent from my iPhone using AutoGuide.com App |

Re: anyone with 22" wheels .. need some advice...
they are not stock rr wheels, they are redbourne wheels, they are 22"x9.5" wide.. 5-120... I have seen them listed on wheel sites that they will fit our ridgeline.. but I wanted to hear from others with 22" about the ride..any problems.. happy.. unhappy..etc... I need to buy tires for the wheels and if I hear alot of negative feedback about 22" wheels, then I might just go buy new set of wheels and tires either 17" or 18"...

Re: anyone with 22" wheels .. need some advice...
I just tried different tire sizes for the 22" rim and the closest diameter (tire + rim) to OEM is 275/35/22. Are you seriously going to ride on 35 profile tires, cuz that will be one FIRM ride. 245/40/22 is only 0.6% bigger which isn't bad, but also very firm if you ask me.

Re: anyone with 22" wheels .. need some advice...
well 22" 35 profile worked real well on my range rover.. drove great, looked better then stock, granted we all know a honda and range rover are worlds apart.. but I have seen a few other trucks other then range rovers with 22" wheel/tires.. granted I dont know how they drove...

The Ultimate Tire Fitment chart has 3 tires listed for 22s.
