Probably. Unlike the Govt., we did it in 5 months and paid cash!

We carry no debt longer than the 25 day grace period to pay the visa bill.

I know that most people are not going to jump ship on their party, but everyone needs to look long and hard at primary votes within their party. If there are not going to be sensible term limits set, we should do it for them with our votes.
Great idea that some here already practice, but it needs to become the mantra of every American voter. Keep spreading the word.

Nope. If you need a label for me, I'd probably be considered a liberal-minded fiscal conservative.

But, I also know the difference between penny wise and pound foolish.

And I believe in investment. Even a fiscal conservative should see the wisdom in our govt. investing in our country.

I don't understand why Obama's Jobs Bill never passed. Well, I do understand that it was just politicians playing politics. But now that the war (I mean the election) is over, we should revisit a Jobs Bill that invests in this country.

Want a jobs bill that'll really create jobs? Lower taxes on small business and figure a way to either penalize corporations that send jobs overseas or reward those who bring them back here. Our government performs best at "investing in our country" when it leaves its citizens, particularly small business owners, with more of their money to spend on the goods and services that they need and desire.

That sounds like Obama's proposal.

And rebuild infrastructure, grid, etc., etc.

Re: Vote em out!

Well for $60K, you get a guy in a RL showing up and monitoring every detail! Remember, you gotta start that project with about $10K set aside for the Fridge / install and wall coverings / install before you even begin pricing the traditional project materials. But yeah, top end materials and "master" guys who do "top" quality carpentry and other finish work.... oh it's gonna cost you a bundle! I cant really tell from my i phone, but my guess is that is all very intricate tile work integrated throughout - pricy! And while $220K is a rip off, that work looks gorgeous!
