Re: Blower Motor fan
Dealer told me the big cost is removing and reinstalling the entire dash to get to the harness. I wasn't privy to what they billed Honda corporate for the repair and rental.

Re: Blower Motor fan
well, after two weeks of driving in the middle of winter with no blowing heat, the parts finally arrived and fixed on Monday! But, there was a constant rattling/clicking sound when its on. Took it back to Honda yesterday and the technician confirmed that there was a rattle. He took it back in and found nothing that he could see that causes the rattle. He thinks the part may be defective. They ordered a new one and will be replaced again this week. Like they dont do a test after install? such an inconvenience.

Re: Blower Motor fan
Just drive it here to Seattle. Mine is working fine with the new updated harness.

Re: Blower Motor fan
ok, got another blower motor re-installed and the technician says its still makes a noise (constant clicking/rattling). I dont recall that there was a noise with the original blower. just wondering if any of you can confirm if the blower motor makes this constant clicking/rattling sound. note, its not a loud noise. if you can confirm. Thanks

Re: Blower Motor fan
Mine sounds smooth. Good chance something in the ducts is the culprit.

Re: Blower Motor fan
Mine makes a whirring noise on the right side of the dash. I don't want them pulling off the dash to find it though; probably get more problems than its worth.

Re: Blower Motor fan
If it's any help, my fan did not make any unusual noise before it failed. In fact I didn't know mine was out until the cabin got colder.
