I would love to but have you checked the wait time lately to get a license for a suppressor? Up to a year is what I have been told.

Besides, I took 2 with ONE shot last weekend. Just patiently wait till they line up correctly.

The stupidity spewing from the gun control crowd on how "Nobody hunts with an AR-15" just demonstrates their ignorance further. I know dozens of guys hunting hogs and predators with AR's because it works so well for quick follow up shots on additional opportunities, being able to stay on target because of the low kick and not having to work a bolt to chamber the next round, etc.

I also tested a green tactical light on the Blackout and was amazed that hogs didn't pay a bit of attention to it and I could clearly and safely take a shot out to 125 yards+/- after dark with the Zeiss optics.

But, don't tell Mrs "O" as I still have a night-vision scope on my Cabelas wish list.

What are you shooting hogs with? Is .308 too much, .22 too little, 30 carbine?

Good ol East Tx pig hunt time. You should have a blast.
I use everything from my bow to a 30-06 when deer hunting. Dedicated pig hunting had been with an AR .223.
I did some serious damage one evening sitting in one of my Tripods overlooking a corn feeder with my Saiga 12 with a 10 rd mag with slugs. Man, that thing will flat roll them over!

Anyway, a .22 won't cut it IMHO (tried it...nope, they laughed at it) but anything else should work.
Put it in the ear and down they go.

Sounds like great sport! Do you ever butcher them? Had some nicely smoked razorback bacon when I lived in NW Arkansas and it was pretty darned good. A bit gamier than domestic store-bought bacon but was great with biscuits, eggs and grits for a really hearty breakfast.

Good to know there are some grits lovers on the up side of the Mason Dixon line. Grits are a staple in our house, and not just for breakfast. I will send you a secret recipe later.
