B2 service - air/cabin filter
Doesn't the 2 indicate both the air filter and cabin filter? My last service was 9 months and 5k miles ago - timing belt, spark plugs, oil change, air/cabin filter, and all fluids.

Re: B2 service - air/cabin filter
Yes. MM subcode 2 includes BOTH filters.

Re: B2 service - air/cabin filter
Thanks speed. I guess my MM is off then. No way I'm replacing the cabin filter after 9 months of driving it only 3x per week.

Re: B2 service - air/cabin filter
I don't blame you. OTOH, cabin filters are pretty cheap. Here's a Bosch for $10:

I should have clarified, I just bought the truck used 9 months ago. I had my Honda mechanic do a full service on it - inspect everything and replace all fluids. I'm assuming he just reset the MM to bring the oil life meter back up to 100%. There's no way to do a complete reset of the MM right? |

Re: B2 service - air/cabin filter
I honestly don't know if there's a complete reset or not. I've never seen it mentioned... if I understand correctly what you mean.
I understand now what you mean about the 5k mile/9 month -2 service. Makes sense. And to get back on the MM schedule, that's what you'd need to do. Pretty cheap way to get back on the schedule imo. |

Re: B2 service - air/cabin filter
I'm thinking at the rate I drive (6k miles per year) it would take me 6 years and 36k miles to get back on the MM schedule. By then, the darn truck will be 12 years old and have 175k miles on it. I'll probably just wing the maintenance based on mileage because the truck will fall apart from rust before the drivetrain fails, lol. The MM will be good for oil change reminders though.
