Yeah, with everything you hear on the news, and everything coming out of the WH, you'd have thought it was GWB's idea....

Yes. The pattern is financial ruin most everywhere professional politicians remain in office.

I don't think vote 'em out is the immediate issue. I think term limits should be the focus of our efforts to control our out-of-control government.

Term limits, yes; also need control on campaign contributions and candidate spending. Enough was spent last year to put a big dent in the national debt. All of congress and the WH are obligated to contributors; not constituents.

Can you spell Constitutional Amendment? Should also include an absolute requirement for a balanced budget with zero wiggle room and an end to the Federal Reserve. We could call it the Congressional Responsibility Amendment.

Contrast the issues in progressive states like Cali and Ill (High UE and huge state deficits) with the growth/low UE conservative states like Texas. I find this pretty interesting...in the lists of the best cities for jobs, for small, medium, and large cities, Texas has 3 or 4 cities in the top 5:

Re: Vote em out!

My Tennessee governor has got it going in the right direction. He also has an overwhelming majority in the legislature.

Re: Vote em out!

I'm not sure which is worse:

(a) The Obama administration is stupid enough to try selling the gloom and doom idea that this sequestration is going to result in widespread economic pain across all segments of our nation AND that it's somehow the fault of the Republican Party or,

(b) That they believe the American people are stupid enough to buy it.

Yep, he sure does. Very nice article on a guy who really seems to have his sheet together.
