Stock navigation unit

I'm looking at a 2007 RTL with the stock navigation unit. What do people think of this unit? Is it already out of date given that every smartphone has GPS? Other thoughts? Thanks for the help.

it will get you where you need to go, update the software if needed. but compared to an aftermarket GPS it's garbage. Personally I wish I had bought a non NAV RTL and installed my own in dash with bluetooth, back up camera, DVD, and preouts for audio.

I have factory navi on my 2010, it's ok but not great. It's faster/easier to use my phone, I usually only use it on longer trips - use the phone for the short ones.

ALSO the audio display is way cooler on the big screen.

To be fair: between my Audi navi, Lincoln navi, and the Ridgeline's = none of them are even close to the ease of use of a $100 GPS from (insert big retail store here)
