OEM Roof Rack - worth the noise?

I am considering adding the roof rack to my RTX. I don't need it except to carry a canoe a couple of times a year, but my wife, kids and I LOVE the way they look. I also love the quiet ride, so my only reservation is the wind noise I have read about. Therefore, I am taking a poll of all you roof rack owners - is it worth the wind noise or not? Thanks for the responses!

IMHO It is worth the noise. The noise to me is just not that much of an issue. I usually have my radio on and unless I am trying to hear the wind noise it is a none issue. I have done interstate driving, but mostly day to day city driving.

Well worth it. I drive highway miles all the time. The noise isn't that bad.

Now, would I recommend sunroof open at 80 MPH and the rack? NO. But you've got an RTX. No roof.

Quality piece and works great.

My other concern is this. On the RTX model, they come with the brownish-gray colored wheels. I really love this and the dealership put a stripe and Ridgeline decal on that matches the wheels exactly. But I am not sure how the silver colored roof rack will look on top.

I also own a Blue and I have a roof rack, look at the thread for Blues. Pictures posted by Truckin'. There are a few BLUEs with racks. We had ours installed by the dealer, it was one of the first things we did. And we love the way it looks, and we don't notice any wind noise.

YES!!! IMO, the truck looks too plain without the rack. had mine installed before i collected the truck from the dealer at time of purchase. can't wait to go ski so i can actually use it!
