Unhappy Pet Barrier

Has anyone found or come up with a pet barrier to keep your dog from jumping into the front area of the truck? I used a piece of webbing and attached it to the headrests and used rubber type hooks to clip it to the bottom of the back seats but the dog still tries to jump over that!! If anyone has come up with anything thats foolproof I would appreciate your feedback. Sure don't need the dog jumping around the front of the new Ridge. Thanks.

Re: Pet Barrier

Use a carrier and/or put him in the bed of the truck.

I guess that depends on how you feel about kids riding in the back of the truck. I grew up doing it.

Yeah why can't you? I know all about dogs in the bed after a night of heavy drinking.

Re: Pet Barrier

I use a belt that hooks to his harness on one end and the other ends plugs into the seatbelt. It's long enough he can stand up and turn around but can't jump up front.

Re: Pet Barrier

I cinch a loop in the lesh to the child seat hook in the top center. Tethered that way, my dog has room to move side to side, can look out the rear window and can't reach the front seats.
