Smile ST1100 in a Ridgeline bed ???

Tomorrow I will be picking up my new RL - can't wait I'm hoping that I will be able to haul my ST1100 motorcycle in the bed, rather than towing a trailer. The ST is a rather large bike and weighs over 600 lbs. If it does fit, I'm sure the rear tire will be sitting near the back edge of the tailgate. Has anyone seen a similar bike being hauled in the bed of an RL? Any tips on how to tie it down ?

Thanks in advance

Yes it will haul a ST1100 no problem... Get some soft-ties and normal tie downs and you'll be fine..

I have put my BMW 1200GSA in the RL(it's bigger and heavier then a ST1100)

My question for you is....
What the heck are you doing putting an ST1100 into a truck?
That's a harley thing
My ST has a sticker on it...
"If this bike is on trailer or a truck..
it's being stolen"
Just giving you the gears... I have had to put my machine on a trailer once to get it thru the mountains one late fall ride.
