Throttle Body Bypass Hose

Has anyone tried a throttle body bypass kit ? This is to bring cold air into the throttle body.

This is a modification that theoretically has reasons why it could improve power production, but I have yet to see it make any measureable difference in actual usage. It is easily installed and uninstalled so if you want to try it go ahead, but in my experience, even on a dyno it is too small to be measured.
