Outstanding Honda Dealership Service - CO

In Colorado, I called the Homda service manager at Burt Honda on Arapahoe road. Explained I wanted all my doors to unlock when placing the vehicle in park, and I would pay for the part if they would do the labor. Well the part was $100 when I thought it was going to be $30, so they said they would cover everything, install and cost.

That kind of service deserves mention. Chip is the manager.

What year is your RL?
That is a programmable feature on the 07's, don't know about the 06's.

It IS a programmable feature in the '06. I know this because mine is a '06. Owner’s manual tells you how to enable this feature.

Re: Outstanding Honda Dealership Service - CO

You might already have the piece you need. Read the manual and follow the steps exactly to programming the door locks.

If you do not have the part you need. I believe there was a TSB on this or something, but I THINK they will fix this for free. There are many on the ROC who have had this fixed, but unless you have one of the original 2006's, you already have what you need.

Re: Outstanding Honda Dealership Service - CO

I think Aug 2006 and earlier did not have it.

I have an Aug 2006 build date and did not have it.
Thanks to Hueys St. Louis and the Honda folks at the ROC meet service clinic I now do have it.

Re: Outstanding Honda Dealership Service - CO

I have to agree about the dealership. I just bought my 07 Nimbus Gray RTL w/Navi on Saturday. It was the best car buying experience I have ever had. I had to bring it back yesterday to have the hitch package put on (Normally, I would do this myself, but I have a broken hand). The service department was excellent as well. They even gave me a nice (07 Pilot EX-L) loaner car for the day. I can highly recommend this dealer, which is rare for me. I'm picky.

Love Burt Kuni Honda. Mike R. in sales is a great guy to work with. they worked with me every step of the way and never tried to screw me over. Which was nice. i got my 07 5 days ago for alot under what NADA, KBB, and Edmunds said I should have gotten it for. I will buy all my Honda's from them.

What city? Just good to add. Colorado vs. Nebraska next Friday! Colorado is one of our frequent vacation destinations.
