Willing Participants for a Meet

Just wondered if I could get a count of people who might be willing to drive to Cleveland for a meet at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in October??

If I have my RL by then, I'll be there! I'm in Columbus, so that's an easy trip! I am still trying to work a deal. There are 10 dealers within 50 miles of me but they won't deal as much as other dealers. I may just go out of state to buy mine. The funny thing is the guy I know who is the Internet Man for my closest dealership has sold only ONE RL since February. I can get one for $1000 over Invoice from him, but my checkbook won't open until it is at or below invoice. You would think that they would want to move them since he admitted they aren't selling well here.

Oh well...in March, they wanted MSRP and loaded them up with overpriced accessories. In May, MSRP w/no accessories. In June, $1500 over Invoice and now, $1000 over Invoice. In another month or two, I'll have them right where I want them...LOL

Hmm, October is going to be difficult. We're going to all computerized records and that will be during our go-live so I won't be able to get time off. It's a fairly significant drive from MN to OH...

I have contacted the Rock Hall and threw as much charm as I could muster up at them to try and get them to sponsor us. I am awaiting their decision. Maybe I can petition the Honda Dealers in the area minus one to help sponsor as well. Ticket prices are $20.00 and there are loads of hotels and places to visit and things to do here. ( we are the mistake on the lake no longer )
I'll keep you posted and as long as I see some real interest, I'll work as hard as I can to get someone to foot the entire bill. Maybe Honda?????
