RTX vs RTS vs RTL

I like the look of the RTX and the fact it comes with the hitch.
I like the power seat option of the RTS but wonder whether or not teh seats will be comfortable.
I thought the RTL seats may be more comfortable and teh other features may be nice but not necessary.

Any opinion on whether or not the RTX seats and manual adjust are good enough or shoudl the RTS with electric seat be considered or just bypass them both and get the RTL for the better seats and add the hitch?

You'll be a much more equipped camper if you drop the dough and get the RTL and add the hitch

Re: RTX vs RTS vs RTL

Electric seats are nice and all, but the only thing I really miss over the RTX was the dual zone climate.. and even then, I'd never use it, because 95% of my driving is by myself.

I was actually sold down to the RTX, due to my wanting a hitch..

Re: RTX vs RTS vs RTL

If I could have it my way, I would want my next RL to be an RTS interior with all the electronics of an RTL including Nav without the moon roof and some side mirror signals.......

I vote the RTL. The heated seats are great. I use them even in the summer for my sore back. I really missed that in my Tahoe. I also have the Nav system, and the integrated system that lowers the radio when it gives verbal directions is much better than my portable unit.

Re: RTX vs RTS vs RTL

The power seats allow for more adjustments than the manual...
At 6'4" I can find the perfect comfort zone with the power seat...
I would say go all the way with the RTL and add the hitch...
I did and love it !!

Re: RTX vs RTS vs RTL

I decided to buy an RTX as I didn't really see the need for all the extra stuff offered on the RTS or RTL, but wanted the tow package/hitch.

Haven't regretted the decision once.

Re: RTX vs RTS vs RTL

I've got an RTX and am absolutely happy with the seats. The manual adjustment works just fine and I hardly ever change it. I've been on many 300-400 mile day trips and find the seats supportive and comfortable. I thought I would miss having the lumbar adj that the RTS & RTL have but so far have not had any noticable lower back fatigue. I've got power seats w/lumbar adj in my wife's Odyssey but I can honestly say that the manual RTX seats w/o lumbar are just as comfortable to my back and bottom....

I'm 5-11 and weigh in at 170 so I'm rather average and find that the seats and seating position fit me extremely well. It's a good thing since my budget for the RL was tight and the additional cost for a higher trim model was not in the cards.....

But everybody is not the same so you have to find what works for you.

Re: RTX vs RTS vs RTL

I'm wrestling with the RTX vs RTS at the moment as well. I was originally hooked on the RL by the RTX lease deal, and since I need the hitch it seems like a good fit. I'm being tempted by the RTS, though. No one specific feature is 'necessary', but in aggregate they seem worth the $45 difference in lease price I've been quoted. It may come down to the stereo - if the stock RTS unit with upgraded door speakers is 'good enough', then it would save me installing an upgraded HU and adding a sub which I was expecting to do with the RTX.

Silver RTX vs Nimbus Grey RTS. hmmmmmmmmm
