TPMS light, and weatherstrip
I read the other two threads regarding the TPMS and the weatherstrip.. I actually have a problem with both... I stopped at the Dealer yesterday, not the one I bought my Ridge from it is 45 miles away this one is only 15..
ANYWAY they ordered my weatherstrip yesterday and it is here today.. My TPMS light has been on for a while now, I had it reset at the original dealer and it came back on, on the way home.. Yesterday I had it reset while I was getting the weather strip ordered.. AND GUESS WHAT ON AGAIN BEFORE I GOT HOME.. So, when I talked to the dealer today they made me an appt. for Tues the 20th.. Here is the thing, they can't give me a Loaner because I bought the Truck at Airport Honda, and its being serviced and Rusty Wallace Honda.. So I asked them what they were going to do for a vehicle. They service manager said "American Honda will provide you a Rental Car from enterprise, they will come here and pick you up, all you have to pay is gas." That still makes me upset, I have had to take the Ridgeline to Airport Honda and back = 90 miles, and to rusty wallace twice = 60 miles, so I have had to put 150 miles on my truck which is about 10 gallons of gas give or take which = about $31 plus im going to have to put gas into the rental car at least $10 - $15.. Hopefully this TPMS light will be finally fixed.. I do have a Garmin GPS, and a Sirius Satelite reciever, but neither have effected the vehicle before so I dont think that is the problem. I do hope they get it fixed, we are heading to Panama City in July, and that little light annoys me to death.. Thanks for listening to my rant.. Re: TPMS light, and weatherstrip
Happy to listen!
You could try to inflate your tires a couple of pounds over and see if it helps, but possibly it is a bad valve stem sensor. Hey, I think you may need to check your spare, but I am not sure if it has a TPMS sensor in it..... RidgeLI |

I don't think any of the spares have a sensor.. I have tried it at 32 psi, 35 psi, 37 psi.. Nada..LOL hopefully they will figure it out and have our truck back sooner than later. |
