Shame really, Probably get better performance and MPG, Also, able to hold a gear longer as the auto drops at the sniff of a hill,

I dont know...it would seem the MPG argument cannot be made anymore with these new automatics.

I'd be all over a stick-shift though. As short-sighted as that would be to have on long island (frequent traffic jams) I bet it would be a blast to drive!

Not unless they offer a FWD option like some other honda v6 models too much expensive drive train stuff to kill

It would take a bit of thinking to figure out how to get a stick through the floor and how to angle it too. And yes I know it don't take much to poke a hole in the floor, but you get what I mean.

Re: 2010 manual transmission in the ridgeline?

When I was a kid and had my Jeeps, and BMW I liked driving stick. Now I just want to sit back an relax when I drive. A manual transmission as an option would not be a selling point, or of interest to me in the least.

Re: 2010 manual transmission in the ridgeline?

I like manual transmissions but need an automatic to launch our boat. Had a f150 stick and was really hard to operate it getting the boat out especially on steep boat ramps.
With the auto makers having trouble and the few ridgelines that have been sold I can't see honda spending money to design a manual transmission when probably 95 percent of drivers would rather have a automatic.
