Re: Offroading in Northern VA

Have you checked out Green Ridge state Forrest (its in western MD). I have been through a section of it with my Ridge and it was not that tough you just need to choose your lines.
The roads to to the ORV trail is beautiful and can be kind of rough well at least i dont think may cars would get through some of them.
I have also been to Rocky Run ORV trail just out side of Harrisonburg VA. I dont think youd have any problems there just stay on the correct trails not that you would fit on the atv only trails.
Trying to figure out why my Mac wount attach my photos.
Ill see if i cant get some up soon.

Re: Offroading in Northern VA

My friend actually told me about Green Ridge the other day. I think I will probably check that out when the weather gets warmer. Their website said something about the trails being closed until further notice, due to downed trees and incliment weather, so hopefully it will be open in the spring. I would like to check it out. Thanks for the info though, I hope you can get those pics up. Keep me posted.

Blue Ridge Mountains, VA - at the Oak Ridge Estate in Nelson County near Charlottesville; that's where Jeep has held Camp Jeep several years. Awesome trails there. Don't know about availability to the public.

Re: Offroading in Northern VA

If your interested let me know when you plan to head out there, it an excuse for me to drive the 3hrs back out there.

Its also good to have other trucks with you, learned that way before the Ridge!
