resetting computer after maintenance

I have almost 50,000 miles on my '09 Ridgeline and the code A12 just popped up after a long trip this weekend. I read the forum on what A12 is. I am not a newbie to doingmy own service, but have yet to do my own on my Ridgeline. Now being on a tight budget, I am going to have to do this myself.

My question is, how do I reset the computer after performong the service so it starts at 100% again?

Brian,

The procedure is in your OM. Basically it just involves selecting the oil life page and holding the reset button until the reset menu comes up. Make sure to select Yes and hold reset again until it clears.

Typing from memory here so back this up with your OM.

I just did my first reset on my 2011 (A1). It was a little confusing as the buttons on the right hand side are different than what is descibed in the manual.

Is this button redesign only on the Canadian models?

I didn't get the maintainence reset screen. the oil life simply changed to 100%

Hmm. Just changed my oil over the weekend for the first time. Guess I need to reset mine as well..

Worked like a charm.. Was at 30% with about 6K miles of the break in oil.
