Clear Bra

Anyone have any recomendations for a clear bra?

3M material, or maybe Clear Bra, or maybe Auto Clear Guard?

Re: Clear Bra

Check out this armorcoat sounds great, have not found anyone in my area to apply it . It needs to be done by a professional .

Re: Clear Bra

That armorcoat sounds pretty cool. I wonder what the cost is for an application.

Re: Clear Bra

I'm getting a clear bra installed on Friday by the dealer. They charge $200 but threw it in for free when I bought the RL

It looks to be a thick flexible plastic film that is applied. I don't know who makes it and the dealership said that it is quite difficult to apply and they have a guy that comes in for a bit each week and does the application.

Re: Clear Bra

I know this may sound like a dumb question, but how does washing the car affect the clear bra?

Re: Clear Bra

It's a thick film that is applied to the front of the hood. No dirt should get under the film.

Re: Clear Bra

Let me rephrase my question. When washing the car, do you avoid the clear bra area all together or can you wash it with a sponge without ruining it?

Re: Clear Bra

.

I use the 3M on my motorcoach - over a year and no problems or discoloring.

I am making a pattern for the front of the RL instead of using the air
deflector .... local Orlando dealer has installed 2 air deflectors on RL's , and
they both look off-center .

.
